Introduction to permeability tester
1. Introduction
Penetration tester/sanitary napkin penetration tester is used to measure the penetration performance of sanitary napkins, sanitary pads, diapers/tablets and other sanitary products. It is used in sanitary product factories, national Quality inspection center and so on
2. Test principle:
Take to be a test samples, it is natural state down on a large enough known quality filter paper and on diapers permeability tester is down to the bottom of the funnel, the funnel, quickly open the valve with a certain liquid liquid flow freely to the surface of a sample, will absorb liquid sample after removing, weighing in a sample of known quality filter paper, expressed as a poor quality of the osmotic quantity.

4. Operation process
Measurement of slip permeability:
1. Install each component into the position shown in the diagram.
Firstly, the tester is placed in the horizontal position, and the Angle between the upper panel and the lower panel is adjusted to (30 soil 2)°. Then, the lower mouth of the funnel is adjusted so that the projection of its center point is (200±2)mm from the lower edge of the tester slope plate. The opening of the lower mouth of the funnel is oriented toward the operator.
Pour an appropriate amount of test solution into the funnel and make the funnel wet. Wash the funnel twice with the test solution and put it away for later use.
2. 3. Accurately measure the test solution with a measuring cylinder, take 50mL baby diaper/pad and 60mL baby diaper and pour it into the standard discharging funnel for adjusted baby diaper and diaper/pad;
Take 150mL adult diapers and diapers/pads and pour them into the standard discharge funnel for adjusted adult diapers and diapers/pads.
Then quickly open the funnel node to a large size so that the solution flows freely to the surface of the sample and flows to the beaker along the inclined plane.
After the solution runs out, close the funnel node door and wipe the funnel nozzle so that there is no solution.
Measure the solution in the beaker (up to 1mL) with a measuring cylinder as the test result.
If the test solution runs away from the side of the sample, the sample becomes invalid and a new one is taken for re-testing.
4. Calculation of experimental results: The amount of sliding permeability is expressed as the volume (ML) of the unabsorbed test solution of the sample. Each sample is measured in 7 pieces, and the large value and small value in the 7 test results are removed, and the arithmetic mean value of the remaining 5 pieces is taken as the final test result to 1ml.
Note: If the lateral flow occurs in less than 2 (excluding 2) of the 7 samples, the results can be retained, but should be indicated in the test report.
Determination of infiltration capacity:
1. Pour an appropriate amount of test solution into the funnel to make the funnel wet, wash the funnel twice with the solution, release the solution in the funnel and fix it on the bracket for use. The opening of the funnel is facing the operator.
A sample to be tested was taken, unfolded and placed on a large enough filter paper of known mass in a natural state and placed at the bottom of the funnel, so that the vertical distance between the projection of the central point of the funnel mouth and the central point of the internal absorption layer of the sample was 5m-lomm.
Accurately measure the test solution with a measuring cylinder. Take 40mL for type S (including Type S), 60ml for type M, and 80ml for type L and above (including Type L), and pour them into the standard discharging funnel for adjusted infant diapers and diapers/pads.
Take 150mL adult diapers and pour into the standard discharge funnel for adjusted adult diapers and diapers/pads.
2. At the same time, I press a 100mm,1.20kg standard pressing block on the filter paper. Press the "Start" button below "Add pressing time" to start the timing. When pressing for 1min, remove the standard pressing block and weigh the quality of the filter paper with a balance.
Press the reset button to reset the "pressure time".
Close the test funnel joint door and wipe away the solution left over from the funnel opening.
