The installation


After unpacking, place the instrument on a horizontal plane.

The room should be clean and well ventilated.

Do not install equipment in toxic environment.

Plug the power connector into the back of the instrument and switch on the power to ensure grounding.


Operation method


Sample placement specification


Instrument preheating


A variety of standard tests can be performed using a sublimation/ironing fastness meter with precise temperature control.

The upper and lower plates shall be preheated before the test to ensure that the temperature is stable and meets the standard requirements.


Install the power cord, turn on the toggle switch, light up the temperature control meter and timer, set the test temperature according to the test content, close the upper cover plate and start heating the upper and lower plates.


Dry heat/sublimation resistance test


1. Before the test, select and set the test time (usually 30s) and test temperature according to the standard and sample type, and preheat the machine.


2. According to the requirements of the test standard, the cut dry sample is prepared according to the standard method (in the standard test, in order to ensure the accurate pressure above the fabric, in the multi-sample test, please strictly follow the specification of the sample placement in the instructions)


3. After the machine is preheated to the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.


4. Place the prepared sample into the panel to ensure the smooth surface, and the timer will start automatically after covering the panel.


5. After reaching the set time, the buzzer will ring, close the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.


6. Repeat steps 2-5 if you need to repeat the test


7. Compare the test sample with the corresponding grey card to evaluate the color change grade;

The stain grade was obtained by comparing the padded cotton fabric with the grey card.


Color fastness to hot pressing/ironing


To test the color change and color transfer degree of the fabric after hot pressing, the hot pressing fabric can be dry, hygroscopic and wet three kinds, usually determined by the final use of the fabric.


 


Before the test, select and set the test time (usually 15s) and test temperature according to the standard and sample type, and preheat the machine.


Note: Do not turn on the timer switch when the instrument is preheating, otherwise the timer will start automatically after the cover is closed.


Stack asbestos sheets, flannel, dried or wetted samples and white cotton linings as required according to test standards.


After the machine is preheated to the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.


Place the stacked samples in one time to ensure the smooth surface. The timer will start automatically after covering the upper panel.


After reaching the set time, the buzzer will sound, turn off the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.


To ensure temperature stability, if the test interval is long, please close the upper cover plate.


Note the high temperature burn during the test


Repeat steps 2-5 if you need to repeat the test.


Compare the test sample with the corresponding grey card to evaluate the color change grade.

The stain grade was obtained by comparing the white cotton cloth with the grey card.


Dimensional stability test


The stability of the fabric at melting temperature was evaluated by comparing the length and width of the fabric before and after hot pressing at a certain temperature.


The following is an example of M&S P10 standard to introduce the test method.


Cut the fabric to 20×20cm.


Determine the test temperature according to the heat-resisting property of the fabric, and set the test temperature for 30s.


After the machine is preheated to the set temperature, open the upper panel and press the timer switch.


Put the sample in, make sure it is flat, and the timer will start automatically after covering the upper panel.


After reaching the set time, the buzzer will sound, turn off the timer switch, open the upper cover plate and take out the sample.


The dimension of the fabric after the test is measured with a scale precision of 1 mm, and the rate of dimension change is calculated.


Repeat steps 3-6 if you need to repeat the test.
