General wear performance tester

The Stoll Quartermaster tests the abrasion performance and resistance of a wide range of fabrics, including apparel, footwear, and industrial textiles.

The instrument is equipped with a flat grinding test head (inflatable membrane test) and a curved grinding test head, as well as the required weights and sandpaper.

Built-in timer and mechanical cycle counter.

Applicable Scope:

Universal abrasion tester for flat grinding, curved edge grinding, grinding, frilled edge grinding and on the frost resistance, abrasion resistance test, such as edge and raising can be used for the woven fabric, knitted fabric and coated fabric, pile fabric, socks, felt deep, fabric, fabric, yarn, cord, plastic film, rubber, leather, paper, and many other materials.

The sample may be dry or immersed in water, oil, or other liquid.

The instrument is mainly composed of control system and friction system.

Install the sample on the fixture and tighten it.

Lower the upper clamp with sandpaper, adjust the position of the weight so that the sandpaper is in contact with the surface of the sample, set the friction times of the sample through the control system, and start the instrument.

The base of the lower fixture moves back and forth to make the sample and sandpaper rub each other. When the number of movements reaches the set value, the instrument stops, and the sample is removed to observe the degree of wear.

Suitable for testing the wear property and wear resistance of all kinds of fabrics including clothing, shoes and industrial textiles.
