The 45 degree combustion tester is used to test the combustion performance of textiles.
The stainless steel test box is equipped with glass observation window, and the timing is automatic from the start of sample combustion, accurate to 0.1s.
Ignition time can be set freely.

The principle of
Under the specified conditions, the sample was placed at an oblique Angle of 45°, the ls was ignited on the sample, and the time required for the sample to flame up for a certain distance was used as a measure to evaluate the burning intensity of the textile.
For fabrics with surface fleece, the ignition or melting of the undercloth is an additional indicator of the intensity of the combustion, but it should be noted.
Equipment and materials
Combustibility tester
The instrument consists of a ventilated box containing an ignition device, a sample holder and a sample clamp (see Figure 2), and an automatic timer.

2. Bristle device
Used for sample preparation of pile or tufted fabric.
It consists of a suitable sliding frame for the sample holder and a loaded nylon bristle brush mounted vertically on the sample surface.
The sliding frame is equipped with four wheels, which can move forward and backward along the sample, with the moving distance slightly exceeding the exposed length of the sample.
And provided with a guide rail for the movement of sliding wheels.
A brushes are composed of two rows of nylon bristles with diameter of.41 mm, 20 bristles in each cluster, and 4 clusters in every 25mm. The two rows of bristles are in staggered arrangement.
The tufts are flat and the length is 19mm.

3. Operating procedures
A takes a sample clip with the already installed sample from the dryer, places it on the sample rack in the tester, passes the mark line through the guide hook of the sample rack plate, and hangs a heavy hammer on the mark line just below the guide ring to tighten it.
B Close the test box door.
Set the timer to zero and press the start button. When the timer starts, make the flame contact with the sample surface for 1s.
When the flame burns to the marker line hanging on the upper part of the sample, the heavy hammer falls because the line is burned off, the timer stops and the burning time as shown in the chronograph is accurately recorded.
The time from removing the sample from the dryer to igniting the sample shall not exceed 45s.
C. The combustion state of the sample should be observed during the test.
If the combustion is incomplete, the evidence of carbonization or melting on the back of the sample should be observed.
4. Any instrument cannot be separated from maintenance, which can not only extend the service life of the instrument, but also prevent its performance from rapidly aging and becoming inaccurate.

7. Regularly check whether the temperature controller is accurate. If not, please adjust the static compensation of the temperature controller or the sensor repair value.
8. Regularly check whether the heating tube is abnormal.
9. Check whether the delay controller is accurate regularly.
10. Unplug when power failure, to prevent automatic start when the call.
