Not only applicable to the lighting equipment, low-voltage electrical appliances, household appliances, electrical, tools, instruments and other equipment, and electrical and electronic plastic or rubber products such as electrical connectors and their component parts in the research, production and quality inspection departments, can also be applied to insulation materials, engineering plastics, fireproof plugging material type approval or other solid combustible materials

Calibration purpose and requirements

The calibration of the test flame is a more basic guarantee for the test to ensure the reliability of the test.

The test requires a 50W flame height of 20±1mm, a 500W flame external yellow flame height of 125mm, and an internal blue flame height of 40mm.

The time required for the copper block to rise from 100 degrees to 700 degrees is 44±2s for the 50W test flame and 54±2s for the 500W test flame

Experimental methods:

Calibration method

Generally using a flame gauge, Jingque USES flame heating to calibrate copper blocks for calibration.

The determination of a calibration pass

The heating time of flame calibration requires that the time needed for copper block to rise from 100 degrees to 700 degrees is 44±2s for 50W test flame and 54±2s for 500W test flame

50W horizontal combustion test

Enter the 50W horizontal combustion test interface from the touch screen

At 25mm and 100mm of one end of the pattern, draw two marks perpendicular to the long axis, and at the other end marked by 25mm, make the sample parallel to the vertical axis, and clamp the sample at a 45-degree tilt position with the horizontal axis. The relative position of the Bunsen burner and the sample is adjusted well

Rotate the pressure gauge, the pressure gauge is only used as a switch, generally does not show the reading, make the flowmeter display suitable for the gas flow, and then fine-tune the flowmeter

Press the ignition button on the instrument panel to light the Bunsen burner

Adjust the gas flow, and adjust the kamei nut at the lower end of the Bunsen lamp, so that when the lamp is in the vertical position, a 20mm high blue flame is generated.

Tilt the Bunsen burner at 45 degrees.

Push the Bunsen burner push the Bunsen burner to the designated position and start the countdown

Flame time is over, pull back the Bunsen burner.

After stopping the flame, if the sample continues to burn (including flame or non-flame), use the panel button key to record the burning time t(unit second) from the combustion front to the end of combustion, and record the burning loss length L,(unit millimeter), from the 25mm line to the end of combustion.

Note: If the combustion front passes 100m mark, record the required time t between 25mm mark and 100mm mark. At this time, the burning loss length is 75mm.

If the flame is extinguished or the combustion front fails to reach 25m mark after the ignition source is removed, the burning time, burning loss length and linear burning speed shall be ignored.

Experimental Method 3:

50W vertical combustion test

Enter the 50W vertical combustion test interface from the touch screen

Fix the sample vertically so that the bottom and top of the sample are kept at a height of 10mm.

Calibrate the position of Bunsen lamp and sample with standard scale to ensure the distance of 10mm

Pull back the Bunsen burner and light the Bunsen burner and adjust to produce a blue flame 20mm±2mm high.

Push the Bunsen burner to move the Bunsen burner to the lower end of the style and apply the flame to the style. When the firing time is over (10s), pull back the Bunsen burner and then manually start and press the timer to record the burning residual flame time T1.

After the residual flame (even if the Bunsen burner is not leave), position the Bunsen burner back to the sample, the sample on fire, when ShiYan (10 s) after the end of time, back to the Bunsen burner, the manual open press the timer, record residual flame burning time of the second residual flame burning time t2, after the residual flame, press the timer again, the record for the second time after time t3.

Note: In the process of the pattern, if there is a phenomenon of dropping material igniting the absorbent cotton, the test of this sample shall be finished manually.

If the flame spreads to the fixture during the spraying period, the test of this sample shall be terminated manually.
