Using the environment


1. The instrument shall be placed on a flat and stable platform (or foundation).

8. Check the instrument for air leakage: replace the calibration plate with a non-orifice plate for testing. The air permeability screen shows a value of 0(less than 10Pa) as no air leakage; otherwise, some part of the instrument should be checked and adjusted.

Matters needing attention


1. The instrument is a high-precision equipment. Collision and severe turbulence are strictly prohibited during moving and transportation.


2, the instrument factory has been relatively accurate, non-professionals can not fold the internal parts of the instrument.


3. The instrument accessories (nozzle, nozzle holder, orifice plate, sample setting ring) are directly related to the test accuracy, and direct wiping with a rag is not allowed. In case of contamination, blow the surface dust with a blow ear ball.


4. Do not touch the sample during the test to avoid affecting the permeability of the sample.


5. The selection of nozzle diameter should be based on the permeability of the sample. For the sample with unclear permeability, it is necessary to carry out more tests to make it more accurate to reflect the permeability of the sample.


6. The filter screen in the air flow measuring cylinder should be cleaned regularly according to the use frequency.


7. If the instrument is tested for a long time and the pressure difference value is not stable and the fan sound is too large continuously, the machine should be shut down to check whether the air tightness of each component or the selected test part is within the range of measurement.


8. For samples of different thickness, the position of the sample head should be adjusted so that it can better press the sample tightly.


9. Instrument testing is related to atmospheric pressure. It is recommended to check the instrument once every working day.


10. There is a precise sensing element in the air flow measuring cylinder, and the action should be gentle when replacing the nozzle and cleaning, so as to avoid accidents.


11. The air tightness of each sealing joint directly affects the test accuracy, so be careful of contamination, deformation and damage.


12. Select the nozzle number: It is recommended to make the dynamic pressure difference fall within the range of 600~3000Pa to obtain more stable test results.
